Malls in Dubai

At Majid Al Futtaim malls, the more you shop the better your chances of winning this Eid. Shoppers who spend AED 650 at Mall of the Emirates have an opportunity to win Eidiyat of AED 5,000 daily.

In collaboration with Dubai Shopping Malls Group, City Centre Al Shindagha, City Centre Me’aisem and My City Centre Al Barsha have extended the ‘Shop & Win’ promotion where visitors who make purchases worth AED 200 can win cash rewards and luxury gifts up to AED 250,000 until the end of the Eid holidays. Twenty lucky shoppers will be selected to spin the wheel of fortune to win instant prizes.

Shopping for AED 300 at City Centre Mirdif will get them a ticket to win gift cards worth AED 5,000 daily, while spending AED 500 at City Centre Deira will give customers a chance to spin the life-size wheel to win instant prizes up to AED 2,000 each and mall retailer vouchers.

While the parents shop, entertainers will be roaming the mall to bring smiles to the faces of children during the three-day festival.

Majid Al Futtaim malls have pulled out all the stops to bring extravagant live performances and exclusive shows that will appeal to visitors of all ages during Eid.

After a star-studded UAE debut at City Centre Mirdif, British dance troupe Entity Allstars will be performing their show-stopping Harry Potter-themed routine at City Centre Deira on June 27 and 28. This 20-piece dance ensemble with youngsters aged between 10 and 25 will be creating a magical wizarding world for Harry Potter fans with their famous wacky routine that landed them in the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2015 where they were dubbed the ‘New Diversity’.

Lewis Platt—the most famous member of the troupe—is the brother of British reality TV show star Lauren Platt and appeared as her backing dancer on the show.

Children will have the opportunity to interact with the stars and learn some moves in a 20-minute workshop after every show.

Families can create great Instagram moments by posing for selfies with the high-spirited circus entertainers, and shake a leg to some peppy tunes and ballroom dancing at Mall of the Emirates on June 29.

Laugh out loud at Hernan’s magical comedy show at City Centre Deira on June 30, City Centre Mirdif on June 28 and 29 and Mall of the Emirates on July 1, as well. The unique magical show by the Italian artist will have adults and children in splits with over-the-top antics and acts with parrots and rabbits.

City Centre Deira will brighten up the holidays with a carnival atmosphere in the mall on July 1, while Mall of the Emirates will come alive with mesmerising themed-parades of bugs and birds, a Mardi Gras carnival and spring celebration display on June 30.

Malls in the Northern Emirates

There is more than one way to win when you shop at malls in the Northern Emirates.

City Centre Sharjah will continue its ‘Spend & Win’ promotion until the last day of Eid. Shopper who spend AED 300 at the mall will receive instant meal vouchers and mall gift cards.

Residents and tourists at City Centre Fujairah can also participate in the ‘Spin the Wheel’ promotion to receive gift cards from outlets at the mall. The mall will also conclude its ‘Ramadan Surprises’ campaign with a big-ticket draw today. Shoppers who spend AED 250 at any of the mall’s stores stand a chance of walking away with a brand-new GMC Terrain SUV.

The malls are celebrating the joyous occasion with thrilling entertainment for families throughout the day, as well.

City Centre Sharjah’s engaging programme of workshops and edutainment is on until June 28. Parents can leave their children in the playing area where they will learn to make lanterns out of coloured paper and play dough while they go shop. For active kids, the mall has organised an interactive treasure hunt from 11am until 11pm where they must help the mall’s Ramadan mascot Kareem find his 20 hidden lanterns. They will have to approach the Kareem stand and select a question about the different stores at the mall from the digital touch screen to find the lanterns. Winners will receive fidget spinners.

Families have a chance to catch the sweet world of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Adventures’ being created on stage one last time today at City Centre Ajman at 5pm, 7.30pm and 9pm Entertainers will also be roaming the mall to interact with kids and treat them to chocolates.

At City Centre Fujairah, families will be enthralled by circus shows and dance performances everyday from 2pm. Children can join the circus artists in workshops and as they walk around the mall to show visitors their feats after the show.

My City Centre Al Nasseriya will take on a circus theme to welcome visitors this Eid. Balloon benders will conjure up colourful animals and shapes for kids to play with and parents can also sign them up for free circus-themed workshops. Unicyclists, jugglers and dancers roaming the malls will draw excited children in for a merry time from 6pm until 10pm, as well.
